A tooth that behaves like a tooth
A dental implant is a small titanium post placed in the jawbone, where a missing tooth’s root used to be. Once the bone has bonded to it, a porcelain crown is fitted on top. It doesn’t move, doesn’t need neighbouring teeth to be cut down, and you care for it like any other tooth.
How it works at Shwari
- Consultation and 3D scan. Dr Omar Hassan checks your bone, gums and bite, and talks through every option — including when an implant isn’t the best one.
- Written plan. You receive a plan showing each stage, every visit and one all-inclusive price.
- Placement. A calm, numbed procedure of about an hour, with sedation if you’d like it.
- Healing. Usually three months while the bone bonds to the implant. You’re never left with a gap where it shows.
- Your new crown. Scanned, made and fitted to match your other teeth.
Is it right for you?
Most healthy adults with a missing tooth are suitable. Heavy smoking, uncontrolled diabetes or significant bone loss can change the plan — our implant guides cover this in detail.
