Two ways to whiten

In-chair whitening takes about ninety minutes. We protect your gums, apply a professional gel in short cycles, and you leave noticeably brighter the same day.

Take-home whitening uses custom-made trays and a gentler gel worn for an hour a day over two weeks. It’s slower, very even, and ideal for top-ups later.

Before we begin

Every whitening starts with a check-up and clean, so we’re whitening healthy teeth and not trapping stain under tartar. We also photograph your starting shade so you can see the difference.

Realistic results

Whitening lightens natural teeth by several shades. It doesn’t change crowns, veneers or fillings, and very grey or banded staining may respond better to veneers. We’ll tell you honestly what to expect.

Questions

Questions about
teeth whitening.

Will whitening make my teeth sensitive?

Some people feel short-lived sensitivity for a day or two. We use low-sensitivity gels and apply a desensitiser afterwards to keep it mild.

How long do results last?

Typically one to three years, depending on tea, coffee and smoking. A take-home top-up kit keeps results fresh.

Will whitening change the colour of my crowns or fillings?

No — whitening only works on natural enamel. If you have visible crowns or fillings, we plan around them first.
