Prosthodontist

Dr Omar Hassan

Omar leads Shwari's implant and restorative work — from a single missing tooth to rebuilding a whole smile — with a careful, planned-in-advance approach.

“A good implant should be the least interesting thing in your mouth. You should forget it's there.”

Omar is a prosthodontist — a specialist in replacing and rebuilding teeth. After dental school in Nairobi he completed his master’s in prosthodontics at King’s College London, and he has placed and restored implants in Nairobi for over a decade.

His approach is unhurried and methodical. Every implant case starts with a 3D scan and a written plan that shows each stage, each visit and the full cost before anything begins. Nervous patients can have laughing gas or oral sedation for implant surgery, with Dr Kamau’s sedation team alongside.

What patients can expect

Straight answers. Omar will tell you when an implant is the right choice, when a bridge or a well-made denture would serve you better, and when a tooth is worth saving. He sees patients Tuesday to Saturday.
