Straightening, simply
Crooked teeth are harder to clean and can wear unevenly — and many adults simply want a smile they’re comfortable showing. Dr Achieng’ Otieno, our specialist orthodontist, straightens teeth for teenagers and adults with clear aligners or fixed braces.
Clear aligners
A series of thin, clear trays, each moving your teeth a fraction of a millimetre. You wear them about 22 hours a day, take them out to eat, and change to the next set every one to two weeks. Most people won’t notice you’re wearing them.
Fixed braces
Small brackets and a fine wire, adjusted every six to eight weeks. Today’s braces are smaller and more comfortable than most people remember, and tooth-coloured brackets are available.
Keeping the result
Teeth naturally try to move back. Every treatment ends with retainers — included in your fee — and a plan for wearing them.
